Guilloché enamel design inspired by an art deco button containing the idea of natural form being pushed to abstraction, characteristic of the genre. Translucent blue enamel is laid by hand over a gently ridged ground to give the simple, but very beautiful effect pioneered by Carl Fabergé. An elegant, tasteful cufflink drawing on some of my favourite influences.
