Heres an updated take on the classic British Covert coat. Ive used a finer wool than usual, woven by my friends Mallalieus of Yorkshire. Theres a richness to the fabric with overlaid checks of orange, blue, red and russet. Clever. The top collar is trimmed with velvet, and its lined with Libertys floral check. Weve made this with a tailored fit; smart enough to wear a fine gauge polo neck underneath. Im thinking Steed from the New Avengers
