Tulips have always fascinated. I’m intrigued by the tulip mania of the 1630’s when entire fortunes were speculated on the bulbs. A sort of dot.com boom of the 17^th Century but at least there was something beautiful to look at afterwards. Here, the design has been done by crayon over black paper, producing an intensity and richness. There is a repeat, but the pattern is so vast that it’s hard to find. It’s a shirt that’s full of drama and not for s shrinking violet….Made with Liberty Fabric, using their super soft 100% cotton Tana Lawn®, and printed in Italy. We’ve cut it on our more formal block with a gently tailored fit and our signature three button cuff.
