It's hard to strike the balance between statement and wear ability but this jacket does that very well indeed. The white background allows all the colours to stand out, and for the tendrils and ogees to be clear, with their delicate forms at once so familiar and exotic. The pale blues, subtly placed throughout the design, allow this jacket to work so well with linen trousers or, for a more casual look, jeans and loafers. Its tailored, so there's a smartness to it, with a vivid electric blue lining. The composition is 97% cotton with 3% elastane so there's a comfortable stretch to the fit.
