We’re working with a new Portuguese mill this season and this elegant take on a seersucker jumped out at us. It’s a clever variation; the blocks of puckering (sounds like a forgotten Tolkien novel) form a pleasing geometric grid. The addition of 2% elastane gives the fabric a comfortable stretch. We’ve cut it on our most casual block, the Clift, with a flat front and softer collar. You can really dress this up or down; how about under a suit with a knitted silk tie for a summer wedding? Or sleeves rolled up with shorts round the barbeque. Made in Portugal from 98% cotton and 2% elastane.
