Parkfield Scarf Burgundy
I'm very proud of our association with Alan Paine. After all, they did dress Edmund Hilary for his ascent on Everest, so they've been around even longer than me and that's saying something. The traditional plaid check has been around for centuries, being used from bedspreads to headscarves. Think Queen Mothers sitting room. Here, however, its been given a new, fresh lease of life. Its woven both straight and, on the bias, so there's a subtle diagonal running through it that gives an extra dimension. I love the choice of reds, russets and blues that really break up the design. The wool has been specially milled to give a soft finish to the touch. 100% wool made in England. 1.8m long.
