Every now and then, our Japanese brand partners come up with something so wonderful that we just have to bring some into the UK. Here’s a perfect example. It’s by one of Japan’s finest shirt manufacturers, Tomiya Apparel, and it a festival of whimsy. From cats stretching out to different sized frogs all over the place, there’s lots going on. One of my favourites is the weight-lifting beaver, who appears indifferent to those around him. There’s a very large cat, in silhouette, giving a slight air of menace. It’s a delight. It’s superb quality, as you’d expect from a Japanese product, with a button-down collar unlike our ‘usual’ shirts. They couldn’t spare us much stock so it really is limited.
