We took inspiration from 18^th Century French toile de joie fabrics and gave them a thoroughly bonkers re-make. At first, all looks normal. Well. Sort of. There's a general feeling of luxurious foliage and the restrained palette of indigo's on pale blue give a reassurance. But look closer there's the Taj Mahal. And crocodiles..and King Kong. Meanwhile the elephants stride on purposefully through this surreal landscape. This is cut on our Thornhill block so its more formal with slanting pockets and fully lined. The fabric has 2% elastane added to the 98% cotton for a comfortable fit. The ideal statement jacket.
