On a visit to my weavers in Donegal, I saw them making beautiful traditional 'Basket Weave' Irish blankets. They proved easy to adapt for scarves and have been a staple in my collection ever since. Textural and vibrant, the choice of colouration makes them very versatile. At a generous 2 metres long, you can double wrap for extra warmth. This basket weave is a mixture of oatmeal grey, greens, yellow, blue/grey and red colours making for an unusual and stylish accessory.
