Liberty has a long tradition of commissioning work from new artists and designers. Here, London based Soozy Lipsey has taken the classical idea of the Muse and subverted it with a riot of 1980s and 1990s colours with her signature anarchic handwriting. I love the contrast between with calm of the Muse, with her familiar Greek sculptural form, and the wild swirled colours. It's bold and vibrant. We've cut this with our more formal, gently tailored block with its signature three button cuff and removeable collar stiffeners.
