This design takes its inspiration from the genteel watercolour notebooks of the Edwardian gentry. While the gardeners toiled away, the leisured classes painted delicate flowers from under the shade of their parasols. There's a slightly smudged quality to the flora that I like; a suggestion of immediacy. The sheer abundance of colours makes this a highly versatile jacket that can be dressed up or down. For formal, pair with a plain shirt, knitted silk tie and good crisp chinos. For a more casual look, jeans, T shirt and loafers will do nicely. We've cut it on our more tailored block so its gently tailored with a hint of shoulder pad.
